I wanted to send an email letting you know of my experience working with John Douthit. I have been a baseball coach for 15 years and work full time at a baseball academy, C3 Futures. I have worked with a lot of tournament directors over the years and have played at a lot of different venues. I have played John Douthit's events at Texas Star many times over the years and have always enjoyed my dealings with him and the fields we played on are always in great condition. Mr. Douthit is always honest, organized, and attentive to the teams and coaches and this is not common in this industry. Every season I look forward to playing in his events and my hope is that he continues to run events for the youth of DFW for a long time. We need more guys like him. Derek Worley
I just wanted to follow-up and say I appreciate what you guys are doing, and how you run the shop around select leagues at PATS. This has been a great venue for myself, the Bulls Organization, and certainly a great environment to develop my team from AA up though Majors. You guys (and your staff) have always treated us with respect and gratitude - that doesn’t go unnoticed. The communication and coordination to help things run as smoothly as possible makes my role as a coach that much easier.

Thanks for everything you guys do - and we look forward to another competitive season within your league. I anticipate we will be part of what you guys do until these boys get to high school. AJ Simon
I just wanted to take a minute and again than you and your staff for a great Fall season. Running these leagues and ensuring the conditions are perfect for games to be played is a thankless job sometimes, and on behalf of the Colleyville Warriors we say thank you. We have played many different tournaments and parks, and we are constantly amazed how other parks just don't measure up to Texas Star. Your staff is always polite, friendly, and helpful. I'm reminded of the "blackout night" this Fall season, and I watched your staff handle that situation with class and professionalism - even as some parents and coaches were frustrated (like your staff had anything to do with it?) and the staff was as professional and courtesy as ever.

Again, I don't think we take the time to say thank you enough, and I'm sure you hear the negative far more than the positive. From the on-line system, to registration, to coaches meeting, to umpires, to field conditions, to concession stands, to league and tournament staff - the Texas Star has been run by far the best in Texas. It is an absolute pleasure to come to the ball park and enjoy youth baseball. Jay Finnigan
Your staff should give a clinic to all directors on how to communicate. This is my first event with ya’ll and your communication prior to the tournament is second to none. I am sure I speak for several coaches in saying that it's appreciated and well received. Billy Irwin
PATS made a great first impression to my players, parents and coaches and I thank you for that! I told them I had been playing in things that Euless ran for years with my older boy and it has always been awesome, but second time around with the younger one and you didn't let me down! Thomas Gaffney
Best league organization I have ever been associated with and I have been doing this for 25 years! Jerry Picca
This is a bit over due, but I wanted to reach out to you and say what a pleasure it was playing at the Texas Star this Fall. We were a first time team to the league, and the facilities, practice fields, league communication, umpires, and organization was absolutely top-notch. This was an extremely positive experience for the players, coaches, and parents. I commend you for the work you do, and the professionalism you lead with.

Thank you for all you do, and thank you for a great experience. Jay Finnigan
We just finished up playing our second season of baseball at Texas Star. I wanted to take a minute and email you about the fine job JD does in running the leagues. He is on top of every aspect, and he communicates very effectively, and frequently. There is never a time I wonder when the league meeting will be, when the schedule will be out, where we practice, when will make-up games be played, etc. He communicates this information before we can even ask! He bends over backwards to accommodate teams to the best of his ability. Any time I have a concern/question, he responds to my email or phone call promptly (even on weekends or vacation days). I am sure I am missing some things, but I want you to know he does a great job! We really enjoy TX Star and look forward to future leagues. Philip Payblas
The Parks at Texas Star has been a great experience for all of our teams. The fields are great for the boys to play on and the organization of the league and tournaments is second to none. I would recommend any team looking for a place to play choose The Parks at Texas Star. Tommy Maddox
I would like to tell you how much of a pleasure it is not only playing in your league and tournaments as well as practicing at Texas Star. Everything is run with such organization and commitment in an effort to make baseball a worthwhile experience. It is hard to find practice fields but to have a first class place to get our work done in preparation for games is invaluable.

The entire staff is appreciated for their work to make the fields ready for both games and practices. It's amazing how the simple things like fields being drug and watered, baselines being chalked, etc. are overlooked by a lot of league and tournament promoters. I have been thoroughly impressed the small things aren't overlooked by you or your staff which enhances the experience for everyone.

All in all, the baseball facility at Texas Star is a first class place from top to bottom. Rusty Greer
I have coached baseball with the City of Euless for seven years, many seasons with two separate teams. I have coached teams from T-ball all the way to AA & in both the Spring & the Fall seasons. In the past I have also coached through the City of Arlington, North Arlington Little League & the YMCA as well. Once I found the City of Euless program however, my two boys won’t play in any other league & I won’t coach anywhere else either. In my experience, there is not a better run program in the area. In addition, while playing AA, our team traveled to parks all over the area & were continually amazed at how much better the PATS facilities were. John Douthit, Mike McMacken and Jim Ptomey do a fantastic job day in & day out to make sure it is the best league around & it shows. Not only are the facilities at the Parks at Texas Star beautiful & well maintained, the staff from the top down are involved, visible & experienced. The City of Euless team is passionate about baseball & about providing a safe, fun environment & experience for kids to learn to love the game & grow & develop as players & people. That’s just one of the many things that sets this league & program apart from so many others I have been involved with. We love playing at the PATS & look forward to many more seasons of baseball there! Kayla Alley
I wanted to take a minute to say how much we love playing at the Parks at Texas Star, we moved over a few seasons ago from another league that wasn't meeting our teams needs. Texas Star in Euless has the best fields in the area! Batting tunnels for pre game warmups, batting cages for all ages. We feel like we get the best competition and you can't beat the price. At the other league we had to find our own practice fields, Texas Star offers us a great place to practice, with well maintained facilities. If you're looking for a good place to develop your team and play good teams, I recommend Texas Star! Texas Stix 11U
